On May 22nd and 23rd, athletes converged on Capitol View Park in Frankfort, KY to do a 10k and 13.1 mile trail run and off road triathlon/duathlon as part of the Motus Off Road series. It was put on Progressive Endurance, based in Louisville, KY. About 100 athletes signed up to race these events. Some fast age group athletes showed up and some first timers to off road multisport events. Capitol View Park is a great place to learn for beginner mountain bikers and trail runners, but has enough features to keep things interesting, like the 3 sink holes that athletes did on each lap of trail run and MTB course.
