We combined two of our popular bourbon barrel furniture items into one. Our double door cabinet and barrel table have merged to create a cool table with storage underneath of it. Height without the solid oak base is about 35 inches and the tabletop. We have 2 sizes for you to choose from below (36″ and 48″) in both pine and oak. If you want a different size tabletop and/or made from a different kind of wood, please email us to give you a quote. Shelving inside the barrel can be stationary, single or double lazy Susan. Epoxy resin can be added to the middle of the table (over the barrel portion of the table) to make it flat all the way across. A solid oak base can raise the table to pub height (approximately 40 inches tall) if you prefer to have a taller table.
Barrel stave stools or chairs are not included but can be added with this item for a discount as opposed to ordering them separately. If your table is 35 inches tall (no oak base), the stools will be about 24 inches tall. If you prefer to have a pub height table (with a solid oak base) the stools will be made to about 29 inches tall. The stools will be stained the same color as your barrel cabinet with table.
For the doors – every hinge is designed to work on flat and squared surfaces. A barrel is neither of those things due to the curvature of the barrel which can cause a small sag in the door. Sometimes the doors need to be lifted ever so slightly to get them to shut. This doesn’t happen all the time, but is possible. I do it this way so the gap at the top of the door doesn’t grow from the corner to the center of the doors when the doors are shut.
