Description
This barrel dining set will be a huge conversation piece in your home. We start with 2 double door cabinets built how you want them and add on a 1-inch-thick x 42″ wide, and 80″ long solid oak top. The circles are cut to fit a 20″ circle of tempered glass that sits flush with the table. This allows you to see the distillery stamps below the tabletop.

For the doors – every hinge is designed to work on flat and squared surfaces. A barrel is neither of those things due to the curvature of the barrel which can cause a small sag in the door. Sometimes the doors need to be lifted ever so slightly to get them to shut. This doesn’t happen all the time, but is possible. I do it this way so the gap at the top of the door doesn’t grow from the corner to the center of the doors when the doors are shut.
