Bourbon on the Banks is a great way to experience the history of Frankfort and the Kentucky River all while enjoying River View Park. While attending Bourbon on the Banks, you will be able to sample whiskey from several different distilleries, sample local culinary creations, shop local artists, and read about the rich history of the Kentucky River. This event is always the first weekend of October. The weather is usually dry and cool/warm that time of year, so you can expect to have a good time outside without being too hot.
